About MIRAMIA Collective
About MIRAMIA Collective
For generations, music has brought people together and given us a shared language across families, cultures, and communities.
At Miramia, we’re driving that tradition forward, with the belief that the performance is only part of the story. What happens around the music matters just as much. The conversations between rehearsals, the shared meals that linger, the discovery of somewhere new and the relationships that deepen along the way.
Miramia is an invitation to step outside the roles and routines of everyday life to pursue something you love, alongside the people you love, through beautifully considered experiences in extraordinary places. To learn from one another, be inspired by remarkable surroundings and discover your rhythm all over again.
Meet Our Founder
For Amanda Gundling, music has always been a gift made more powerful when shared.
An accomplished conductor and educator, Amanda is, at heart, a natural convener. She has a rare ability to bring the right people together, connecting musicians with extraordinary leaders in the arts, opening doors to celebrated stages and inspiring destinations, and crafting experiences people want to be part of.
For more than 20 years, Amanda has created exceptional musical experiences for young artists. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Westchester Children’s Chorus and Director of Choirs at Scarsdale High School.
Miramia is a natural next step in Amanda’s journey. After more than two decades of transformative work with young people, she saw an opportunity to extend that same sense of discovery to adults and families—to return to music not simply as something we once did, but as something that can continue to challenge us, connect us and enrich our lives at every stage.
“With the Miramia Collective, artistry, culture, and travel come together. I believe music is the space we come back to. It’s the gathering place. These are the memories we come home to.”
